Paula Powell

Paula Powell is the GRASP Advisor for the Georgetown School, the GRAD Center and Performance Learning Center, and the Academy at Virginia Randolph.

Paula earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics education at Virginia Tech. Being a first generation college graduate, the importance of an education beyond high school was firmly ingrained in her value system at an early age. She is the mother of two daughters, one a college graduate of George Mason University and the other an undergraduate student at New York University. Paula joined GRASP in January, 2006. She was formerly employed by a Fortune 500 Company for over 26 years, concentrating in the financial and marketing aspects of the business. She has personally dealt with the FAFSA and will continue to do so while her youngest daughter is in college.
